Bug detected on Gendm1, the map has been withdrawn and replaced with Cleaver.
Following some information from EZJack and Dee Killer there appears to be a small hole in the GenDM1 map
which could cause a player to become trapped and have to lose frags in order to rejoin.
If a player would hook to the location below they could literally fall through the map and get stuck in kind of
loop.. (Source: Mr.Burns)

The dream has come true again , the 9th FFA Fun tournament was bigg fun again .
I hope you all enjoyed the fragging !
Many thanks to bigfoot for providing the euroquake server and =peg= for tweaking the servers :) .
First game played was on the level e4m3 @ bigfoot(EU) :
This map was a quad fest all the way ; )
After 5min of gameplay I managed to pull 13 frags away from the rest of the field with RoyalAssassin in second place.
Leopold was at that time 22frags behind me.
In the 7th minute Raef managed to take the second place with 22frags along with RoyalAssassin.
9min of gameplay and Leopold fragged his way to the second place with 33frags but still 27frags behind the first place.
We reached the 15th minute and Leopold had 71frags did some quick fragging and closed the gap with only 12frags
from the first place, meanwhile close battle between RoyalAssassin 55frags and Raef 53frags for the 3th place.
=Peg= and kp.mindzx where following at 41 & 37frags.
In the last 5min I could keep the gap with Leopold and won this one, Raef managed to take the third place.
RoyalAssassin in 4th place with =peg= just behind him.

This 8th FFA Fun tournament was a success again!
Playing 2 maps on bigfoot.servequake.com (EU) and 2 maps on ffany.quakeone.com (USA) was a good idea and from
this day on all further FFA Fun Tournaments will be played this way!

First game played was on the level croctear @ bigfoot(EU) :
Former FFA2 winner Loco started good on this map, he took the lead from start and after 5min15sec of gameplay
he was 13frags ahead of Leopold.
After 10 minutes Loco's lead was shrinked to 4frags with me following in second place and 2frags behind me was Leopold.
Between the 11and 12minute I took the lead over from Loco and pulled slowly away and won this one with a 20frags lead ,close battle tho.
Also very well played and a nice 4th place from this classic player [PiL]Auf who didn't play quake for 9-10years!
The second game played was the level cleaver @ bigfoot(EU) :
Lots of frags on this one, 4 players had 100+ frags!
Very close battle for 3th place from start to end between Leopold and ConfuZed.
The third game played was the level gmdm1 @ ffany(USA) :
First map for the FFA Fun Tournament that is played in USA !
ConfuZeD started pretty good, after 4mins of gameplay he was in the lead but 10seconds later Cd took over.
After 5minutes me and Cd slowly pulled away from the rest of the field.
We switched the lead for like 7minutes and after that Cd took the lead and won the first map played on ffany(USA), GG !
Close battle for the 3th place with Leopold taking it with only 2frags ahead of Loco.
[oN3]Xrat3dKilR was not last on this map, he lost connection 20sec before the end when he had 34frags in total and
was on the 9th place. (frags added in final score list)

The fourth game played was the level kikdm3 @ ffany(USA) :
After 5minutes of play me and Cd where already 20frags away from the rest of the field.
In the 7th minute I managed to pull myself also 20frags away from Cd but 3minutes later my lead was only
two more frags !
From that moment it was back and forth changing leadership again :)
Meanwhile there was a very close battle going on for the 3th place with 5 players ,Loco,Leopold,ConfuZed,Raef and [PiL]Auf.
Leopold and ConfuZed took both the 3th place with Raef[amiga] only 2 frags behind and Loco 4 frags.

This seventh FFA Fun tournament from last saturday was a success with two servers full of action with 9-10 players at times.
I will not be posting any score this time because I only have results of one server...
U can only watch demos from server2 of my pov for now. (ffa7demos).
So people if anyone have any demo's or screenshots of the games feel free to send them to me :) (maybe we have a total score afterall hehe)

This sixth FFA Fun tournament was a nice success !
Lets all say many thanks to Xeno for building these very nice and worthy ffa maps.
Xeno, it was a honour to use your maps on this event !
Thanks to Bigfoot for providing hes netquake server again and to =peg= for setting stuff right up and sending me the admin config on last notice.
Also thanks for Mr.burns(Newb) for recording the random-cams and the Leader-cams where recorded by myself.
I hope u all had lots of fun and enjoyed these games !
First game played was on the level follie :
Around the 9-10th minute in game Xeno,ORL,Rock all took the lead for some little while.
Very close battle in the last minute for the first place between RocketGuy and Amiga , Amiga just didn't make it at end to take the win. Nice win from RocketGuy.

In this game it was pretty close till the 5th minute, then the hpb ORL pulled some frags away and was in the lead till the end. This shows again that the ping factor is not all u need to make some frags ;)

After 3 minutes of play RocketGuy took the lead and never looked back ,nice win !
The batlle for second place was so close that Amiga only had a 2 frags margin at the end.
4th place could have gone to 3 players but the new comer LiNe managed to take the 4th place by 1 frag ahead.

The fourth game played was the level domus :
On the map domus took Xeno the lead for like 7 full minutes , then ORL took shortly the lead but after that RocketGuy pulled away again and won this one easely. The rest of the field was pretty close.

The fifth and final game played was the level deceit :
Pretty close at start but then RocketGuy pulled away again and after 10min he was like 20frags ahead of ORL.
ORL managed to pull off a nice come back again and in the 14th minute they both had 100frags, it was so close that it could have gone either way.
But at the end it was a nice draw !

Less people showed up this time then expected , nevertheless it was a fun event.
This time there was a euro-cam around with autocam on.
The camera view is a bit choppy... but still I enjoyed watching it again today, big mistake of me trying to record it by using faqproxy. (Lesson for next event!)

This fourth FFA Fun tournament was a big success !!!
First a couple of thanks to Bigfoot for providing this netquake server bigfoot.servequake.com and to =Peg= for doing
all the admin tasks , good job guys ! :-)
I must say this was the most Fun FFA tournament of them all so far and I enjoyed this so much,thanks a lot for
playing all u guys.
It was also great to see that a lot of u guys where more then 1,5houres earlyer before it all started.
The first game we played was the level Omdm1 :
It was a honour again to play on this level with the designer ORL among us.
Very close battle on this level from start to end , Cortex managed to win this lovely game with 2frags -:).
The second game we played was the level Dranzdm7 the purple haze map :
This was a big frag-fest from start to end , and again Cortex pulled of hes 2frags win , nicely done !
Loco came close to this win too and Nitro managed to get above 100frags.
Also very close results from 5th to10th place.
The third game we played on was the level Dazdm12 :
Great map to play on with all those open spaces on the roof.
This time I managed to get some quads and rockets at the same time to win this one , still peg killed me too many times when I had the quad powerup -:).
Peg lost connection with 18frags for 1minute20sec (Adjusted in the final score).
Hard to get the red armor on this level it seems that the rockets where all flying towards the armor.
Late comer Luke took a nice third place here and Nitro and Loco again above the 100frags too.
The fourth game we played on was the level Pain-giver :
This must have been the most hectic map to play on ,grenades , rockets ,shafts all over the place.
Cortex showed his true skills again , huge win with a amazing 220frags !
All the rest din’t even came close , nice fight for the second place between Britishseapower and Nitro.
Loco lost connection with 167frags ,Erland left the game with 29frags and Feral with 22frags.(Adjusted in the final score list)
The fifth and final game we played on was the classic level Dm7 :
This was great fun to play on this , hard to get the top rocket launcher u had to dodge like 10 grenades each time.
Funny to see if someone took the quad on this map, it was ,just like ants that all players attacked the quad-runner and u had to have
SNS Solecord , webmaster from quakeone dropped by and played for 17min20sec and got 40frags.
I managed to win my second level , Cortex got hes second place and Loco and Britishseapower did a nice fight for the third spot.

Also Trouby from netquake europe played almost 2 games.

I personally think that this map was very good to play on !
Newcomer Britishseapower did a nice job on this map and took the second place , hpb Orl just didn't reach 100frags but still very nice to finish above many lpb's.
The second map was Trimp :
Nicely open spaces in this level.
Nitro got himself a nice second place here.
The third map was Nindm2 :
Some fast fragging was happening here at the red armor spot and the mega health !
The fourth map was UKCLDM2 :
Old classic map this one that was played many times years ago !
Loco and me where both blasted to the roof above RL/RA , some funny frags from up there :)
Great fun here !
The fifth map was Q3dm6qw :
This is the classic Quake3 map , very nice to play on this map.
Peg did a nice comeback on this level and this time Jer got a nice fourth place too.

The FFA2 FUN tournament was a success again.
More players showed up this time to play in these classic ffa2 games !
Many thanks to peg for doing the admin task again.
The first map played was Dm6 , and I must say this was even a bigger mess than on Ultrav from the last tournament.
All together 1577 frags and that's 78,85 FPM on Dm6 !
U had to be lucky to live more then 10sec.
Loco did a nice win here with 256frags.
10 players with 100+ frags.
The second map played was croctear.
This map was probably the best map suited for this tournament ,not too small and not to big.
First four top scores where pretty close at end too.
The third map played was Dm2.
This will always be one off my favorites maps ;) ,it was much better to play on then for example on Dm6.
Nice fight for the second place here , Xeno did very well and managed to get the third place.
The fourth map played was Dranzdm8.
This was a tuff game ,it was hard to get a weapon and some armor here.
Cortex and Peg fighting for the first place from start to end and both won the game with 127frags.
The fifth and final map was the classic E1m2 again just like last tournament.
Always fun to play a classic one.

The second FFA FUN tournament will be played on Sunday 21/09/2008.
The game will start at 19:00 UTC (or GMT/Zulu)-time, a little earlier then last time.
U can check your utc zulu time on bigfoot.servequake.com server now thanks to peg , join the server and just say !time .

The first FFA FUN tournament was a success!
All players did very well and I enjoyed this very much.
First of all thanks to Peg for setting up the server at bigfoot port 26001 and for taking on the admin task on this event.
I'm sure we are going to need it more often in the future !
Some players recorded the hole event including me and peg , I'm going to make a nice promo movie out of it
for the next upcoming tournament.
The first map played was on Ultrav ,it was a big mess from start to end.
All together we did a amazing 1047 frags in 20min !

The second map played was Dm2.
Dm2 was not that hectic like Ultrav but great fun.
Loaded1mbimage surprised us all and did very well on a map he hardly plays and without the shaft !
It was a huge fight for the third place, with close scores at the end.

The third map played was Omdm1.
This is one of my favorite maps, this map was played with the power ups on.
ORL the hpb and maker of this level got a nice third place, nice job !

The fourth map played was Cleaver.
This was the biggest map in this tourney ,still nice scores.
Peg was flying around here like superman :) and got him a nice third place.

Very close again at end for the third place ,even returning player arkon did very well here.
